Bahçeşehir University Stakeholder Engagement Policy
Stakeholders are a key component of the quality assurance system in higher education institutions. Stakeholders are institutions and individuals who interact with the curriculum, are effective in the results of the program, or are affected by the results.
Bahçeşehir University acts according to the principle of maintaining stakeholder relations efficiently by listing its internal and external stakeholders, identifying its strategic stakeholders and sharing them with the public as part of the quality assurance system.
In this sense, the purpose of the stakeholder participation policy and the functioning of the process are determined as follows:
The main purpose of Bahçeşehir University's stakeholder engagement policy is to "interact and cooperate with stakeholders within and outside the university in order to contribute to the realization of Bahçeşehir University's mission."
The Quality Commission serves as a bridge in ensuring stakeholder participation within Bahçeşehir University. The relevant commission carries out its work on stakeholder analysis in line with the strategic goals and policies of the institution and determining the methods to be used by the institution to ensure stakeholder participation in all processes.
In addition, the commission is responsible for communicating with stakeholders, informing them about the processes carried out in the institution, and taking their opinions and including them in the quality assurance system.
Process:
- Listing and prioritizing potential internal and external stakeholders,
- Defining the criteria by which stakeholders can evaluate the institution
- Determining the perspective of stakeholders about the institution,
- Determining what can be done in the institution for the satisfaction of each stakeholder,
- Identifying long-term issues that need to be carried out together with various stakeholders (individually or in groups)
