“Biri Beni Anlasa” Supervised Psychological Counseling Program
This program is planned every year in the fall and spring semesters as part of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling practice course. This service provides free psychological support to school students and out-of-school individuals. The providers of this
service are psychological counselor candidates, senior undergraduate students and graduate students. Psychological counselor candidates provide this service within the scope of supervision. Thus, an average of 8 free sessions of psychological support were provided to 48 people in the 2022-2023 Fall and Spring Semesters. This year, it is planned to provide free psychological counseling service to 35 people with the same program.
BAU Psychological Counseling and Guidance Club Events
BAU Psychological Counseling and Guidance Club carried the activities both face to face and online in 2022 with experts in different fields. Some of these seminars were on Love and Romantic Relationships: How to maintain relationships?, Being friends with emotions: Emotional Competence, The Existential Adventure of Love; Reflection of Childhood Traumas on Relationships; Relationships and Play; Sexuality and Relationships; Maintaining Long-distance Romantic Relationships; Maintaining Long-distance Romantic Relationships.
