Program Description: The purpose of this certificate program is to teach holistic assessment methods involving different fields. At the end of the program, it is aimed that all students will be able to evaluate radiologically, functionally and biopsychosocially.

Application Requirements: Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation (Eng) students can apply to the "Holistic Approach to Assesment in Physical Therapy" certificate program. In order for our students to be entitled to receive a certificate, they must be successful in the courses in the table below with at least a letter grade of "B". Our students can request to receive their certificates by writing a petition to their academic advisors in the next period.

Completing the Program: In order to complete the program, all courses in the content must be passed with at least a letter grade of "B". In this case, our students will be given certificates that they have completed the program. Students who take the course and fail (“F” or “NA”) can repeat the relevant course.

PTR3071 IMAGING METHODS

Course obejectives learn to basic consepts of radiology. X-ray affect, structures answers to x-rays, learn to radiologic devices and true use of them, high quality radiologic imagionation acquire procedures.

Course content is history of radiology, learn to consepts and physiologic milestones, radiology use and basic principles of radiology.

PTR3061 FUNCTIONAL ASSESMENT

The aim of the physical therapy and rehabilitation to increase fuctional activity level and quality of life of the patients or healty subjects. There are various of test- measurement methods and scales which are used determining functional level and considered for dieases or spesific requirements. The aim of the lesson is teaching some of the tests, the measurement techniques and the commonly used scales.

PTR3065 PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION

This course aimed to comprehend psychosocial conditions of person who suffered by any reasons about physical, sensorial or cognitive perspective on disorder, impairment and handicap status, to teach affected conditions of psychosocial process, to gain ability of consultate physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs take in to account of psychosocial problems in physiotherapy and rehabilitation interventions.
