BAU Recyling Station Design Student Competition
BAU Recycling Station Design Competition Result Announcement
The projects submitted within the scope of the BAU Recycling Station Design Competition have been comprehensively reviewed by our jury, based on the criteria of originality, design quality, functionality, sustainability, feasibility, and manufacturability.
We are highly pleased with the ideas developed and the efforts demonstrated by our students on this environmentally conscious topic. However, the design process, by its nature, requires continuous development and deepening. Our jury has concluded that in terms of innovation and originality, the projects require more time and experimentation to reach the holistic design maturity demanded by the top-ranking awards. For this reason, no prizes have been allocated for the first three places.
In order to support "development potential," which is one of the most significant outcomes of this process, it has been decided to honor three promising projects that showcase qualified explorations with an Honorable Mention. Within this scope, the prize support has been restructured for the honorable mentions and distributed among the three projects.
The teams awarded the Honorable Mentions as a result of the jury evaluation are listed below:
1. Honorable Mention (Code: 10928)
- Moozhan Gholinataj Jelodar
2. Honorable Mention (Code: 80720)
- Bengisu Gökalp
3. Honorable Mention (Code: 30046)
- İbrahim Emir Kımıl
- Inas Ouertani
- Nurseli Azra Özlü
We sincerely thank all our students who courageously put forward their ideas along this design journey, and our esteemed jury members for dedicating their valuable time.
