“The Legal Policies Council is created by the Presidency of Turkish Republic and is determining the legal policies followed in the country in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Justice benefits the work of this Council especially while drafting the legislation. Even if Prof. Dr. Feridun Yenisey and Dean Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nuhoğlu are not the members of this Council, they are invited to the Council’s meetings as academic advisors. Therefore they have academic impact on the national legal policies and future codifications.
Besides we are working with Court of Cassation, Justice Academy of Turkey and Ministry of Justice. For example we have organized a meeting with the Court of Cassation and discussed latest cases. Also we have signed a protocol with the Justice Academy and we are accepting as student judges, prosecutors and trainees to our Public Law Master’s Program.”
