• CAUMME PAUMME 2018 (Contemporary Architecture and Urbanism in Mediterranean and the Middle East & Projects of Architecture and Urbanism in Mediterranean and the Middle East)
• Conference, with the subject of “Borders in Architecture” has been held in Bahcesehir University Faculty of Architecture and Design in November 2018 and has been sponsored by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
• The subjects being discussed in this conference were planning issues, such as sustainable planning, changes in housing typologies, transformation of rural at the border of metropolitan areas and healing through planning.

• Union of Municipalities of Turkey and Bahcesehir University have signed a protocol in 2012, regarding giving full scholarship to municipality personnel when they attend the “Urban Systems and Transport Management” graduate program. This protocol is still in action.

• In September 2018, a workshop on street rehabilitation (Hands on Experience in Architecture –2, Street Rehabilitation Project, The Historic Guild Town of Mudurnu) was made with Bahcesehir University students and Mudurnu Municipality. The workshop concentrated on planning challenges in historic towns.
