October 24th, 2014 the advisor Can Erk with 70 members of BAUBES and Okan University organized an event called “Anatolian Food-Kitchen-Nutrition Culture”. This symposium took place with the participation of several other Universities. A 3rd year student of BAU Nutrition and Dietitian, Gülsüm Bakan did a presentation about foods prepared on special Turkish days such as family agreements to marry, engagements, weddings, brides hamam, henna wedding, first wedding night.
