March 8th International Women's Day Webinar was held. On International Women's Day, a special webinar was held on March 8 with the contributions of BAUMUS student assistants under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Ulaş Sunata. Within the scope of the event, four inspiring women shared their experiences and opinions moderated by BAUMUS student assistants. Doğa Tamer from Sustainability Steps Association, Bahar Aldanmaz, one of the founders of We Need to Talk Association, Hacer Foggo, the founder of Open Space Association, and Nurhayat Uçar, a faculty member in the Fine Arts Department at Marmara University, accompanied us at the event. Bahçeşehir University Center for Migration and Urban Studies (BAUMUS) organizes talks, conferences, and symposiums, and conducts training to develop those who work and want to work in the center's areas of interest. BAUMUS, in collaboration with governmental and non-governmental organizations, uses data-based information as a platform for discussion and practice. Syrian refugees are prioritized as the study population. The center organized a webinar series for the 60th anniversary of labor migration from Turkey to Germany and the 10th anniversary of migration from Syria to Turkey. The webinar was held on BAUMUS Youtube account as interactive broadcasts moderated by Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata with various topics and guests, where our viewers share their ideas and questions with us.
