BAU BRIDGE: Equipping Participants with Future-Oriented Skills through Thematic Training

BAU BRIDGE (Bahçeşehir University Research, Innovation, Diversity, Global Entrepreneurship) is a thematic training platform that connects academia, industry, and society through free-of-charge certificate programs.

Launched in 2021 by the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences (FEASS), BAU BRIDGE aims to equip participants — including university students, graduates, and professionals from diverse fields — with future-oriented skills in areas such as sustainability, innovation, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.

All BAU BRIDGE programs are open to anyone interested, regardless of their educational background or professional affiliation. Programs are designed around real-world themes and are co-delivered by FEASS faculty members together with external partners from the private sector, government, and civil society.

In recent years, BAU BRIDGE has partnered with CIFAL Istanbul, the International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders in Turkey, which operates under the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). CIFAL Istanbul, established in 2019 in collaboration with Bahçeşehir University, advances capacity building and education on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for leaders, academics, and students across Türkiye and the Gulf region.

Since its launch, BAU BRIDGE has delivered 22 thematic programs, reaching hundreds of participants and awarding 462 certificates. The initiative continues to grow as an inclusive model of experiential and socially responsible learning, aligning with Bahçeşehir University’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
