The M.S. program in Mechatronics Engineering at Bahcesehir University aims to equip our students with modern skills so that they can perform their profession competently at international level. Specialization in the mechatronics applications of robotics, production, automation, energy, automotive and electronics is possible through our program. Our research interests include Robotics, Aerodynamics, Dynamics and Control of Air and Land Vehicles, Measurement and Control of Noise and Vibration, and Computer-Aided Engineering. We carry out research on humanoid robotics in the BAU Robotics Laboratory which was recently established in collaboration with Stanford University. We offer two M.S. programs in English: with and without a thesis. The thesis program includes 7 courses (with a minimum credit of 21 including compulsory courses of 9 credits), a seminar course and thesis work. The program without thesis includes 10 courses (with a minimum credit of 30 including compulsory courses of 9 credits) and a graduation project course. Graduates of four-year engineering and science programs from national and foreign universities can be admitted to our M.S. programs directly or after the completion of the "Scientific Preperation’’ program.
