Our Software Engineering Undergraduate Program aims to train engineers who can reveal user needs with the contribution of science and mathematics. Moreover, program aims to train engineers who can design and develop software, use information technologies while solving problems in the industry and keep up with the rapid changes in this field. Our graduates who are Software Engineers with a strong engineering background, trained to work at every stage of software development projects such as analysis, design, coding, testing and management. They can develop mobile and web-based applications and equipped with extensive knowledge and experience in today's indispensable fields such as data science and artificial intelligence.
With the CO-OP education model, our students can quickly adapt to the technological innovations and sectoral developments required by the day as well as their education life in BAU and gain work experience by actively participating in the working life. With the content of our undergraduate program, the benefits of the CO-OP education model, and the contribution of international student exchange programs, we train graduates who can apply the requirements of their profession at high standards.
Our graduates find job opportunities in every institution from different sectors that require automation systems that benefit from software and similar technologies in addition to software development-oriented companies.
Our undergraduate program started education in the 2005-2006 academic year. Normal education period is 4 years, and the language of program is English.
The program accepts approximately 100 students each year. Until today, it has sent hundreds of graduates to work at national and international level and to important national and international universities for postgraduate education.
