Collaborations with Private & Public Collaborations
Each semester we strengthen our collaborations with private and public sectors by our COOP courses, guest speakers, and our workshops / competitions.
Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality High School Design Marathon: "Designing Disaster Gathering Areas for Resilient Cities" design marathon was held in collaboration with BAU, IKU, Başakşehir Municipality, and Başakşehir Living Lab.
In collaboration with Rothoblaas Turkey and hosted by Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Architecture and Design, courses on the ever-evolving timber market were provided to industry participants and students.
ID4Excellence: Immersive Design and New Digital Competences for the Rehabilitation and Valorization of the Built Heritage, the second local multiplier event of the ID4Ex (Erasmus+ project), focusing on Architectural Heritage and Immersive Design, was held in collaboration with Özyeğin University and hosted by Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Architecture and Design.
With the coordination of Bahçeşehir University Continuing Education Center (BAUSEM), the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department has held a training program prepared to support the development of interior designers in collaboration with Turkey's renowned furniture design, production, and marketing firms.
In the "Lighting Fixture Design Workshop", which we organized in cooperation with Creart-Prizma Engineering, the designs of our students selected by competition are produced by Creart-Prizma Company.
“Neslican Tay Memorial Design Workshop” was held with the collaboration of Beşiktaş Municipality. Students from our faculty conducted memorial designs for a park which will be named after Neslican.
“Park Design Workshop” was held with the cooperation of Bahçelievler Municipality, in which our students developed ideas for the park areas of the municipality.
As a result of the collaboration of our faculty with Özak GYO, “Büyükyalı Fabrika-ı Hümayun Installation Design Workshop & Competition” was held. The students designed in three categories: Entrance, Open Space and Interior Space. At the end of the competition, students were rewarded and their designs were produced .
