The graduate program in architecture intends to develop and deepen Bachelor level students’ knowledge in architecture to higher levels of professional competence, give students an understanding of scholarly research, develop their ability to conduct and communicate their research, and enable them to enhance lifelong intellectual growth.
The program is flexibly structured to accommodate diverse needs of students coming from different countries and architecture schools. In addition to the architectural design studio orientation toward problem formulations and solutions in architecture, a comprehensive program of lectures provides students with an awareness and ability in architecture and design issues through supervised scholarly research. A thesis that is carefully planned and conducted by each student in consultation with an advisor gives the further opportunity to develop specialization in a specific area of architecture.
