Dear students,
You need to get insurance before starting your volunteer internship process. Insurance is determined by counting the start and end dates of the internship as working days (including Saturdays) excluding holidays.
Please read the explanations carefully, follow the steps and send your completely prepared files to the specified email address 5 days before the start of your voluntary internship at the institution you have chosen. Please keep in touch with your departments internship responsible.
✔ Volunteer Internship Application (Click to download)
✔ Volunteer Internship Application Form (Click to download)
✔ Letter of Commitment (For Family Members Without Insurance and Foreign Students) (Click to download)
The Volunteer Internship form you downloaded must be approved by the head of your department. You can download the Volunteer Internship Application Form and you have both your head of department and Vice Dean. Prof. Dr. Hasan Kerem Alptekin sign it. Then, you need to have the box at the bottom right of your form approved, stamped and signed by the institution where you will do your internship.
The Letter of Commitment you downloaded will be filled by students who are not insured themselves, those who do not benefit from parental insurance (that is, those who do not have any health insurance) and foreign students. The submission must be accompanied by a copy of residence card + ID card photocopy + 1 passport size photograph.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS:
***Foreign students must also attach their residence documents and passport photocopies. In addition, foreign students are required to provide an exemption certificate for their internships abroad. To obtain a work permit exemption certificate, foreign students must first apply via the link https://emuafiyet.csgb.gov.tr/welcome.
If you wish, you can download the work permit exemption contract form, which must be uploaded in the application, in Turkish here or in English here.
***Our foreign students can get help regarding any questions or problems that may arise during the uploading of the required documents by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
It is important for our foreign students to apply at least one month before the internship start date in order to receive work permit exemption documents. You must scan all the documents you have prepared and send them to the e-mail address [email protected] 5 days before the start of your internship in order to avoid any problems.
