BA degrees in Psychology is required for application. The Cognitive Neuropsychology Master Program requires a dissertation from students. Dissertation writing process must be completed within two years. Since the language of the program is English, the students are required to write their dissertations in English as well. Every student chooses his/her academic advisor who will guide them through the dissertation process. The post-graduate programs with dissertation may be completed in a maximum of 6 semesters. The courses are offered on weekdays during daylight hours.
Through the collaboration Bahçeşehir University maintains with Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences (Germany), Berlin School of Mind and Brain (Germany) and University of Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research Mind Brain Imaging & Neuroethics Unit (Canada), students will have the opportunity to carry out their research and/or work at these institutions.
Students complete their compulsory clinical neuropsychology internship at İstanbul Çapa Medical Faculty Neuropsychology Laboratory and Sultan 2. Abdülhamid Han Educational and Research Hospital Neurology Clinic under supervision in their second year.
