Biochemistry and Analytical Chemistry Laboratory

In the Biochemistry Laboratory, studies are carried out on determining the biochemical parameters required for the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases and on investigating changes in biomolecules such as DNA, RNA and proteins in normal and pathological states of the organism. Following and applying the latest developments in science and technology related to this field is also among the main objectives of the Biochemistry Laboratory. Through the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, students will gain knowledge of chemical analysis methods. In this laboratory, concepts taught in the Analytical Chemistry course, such as solubility and solubility product, are put into practice. In addition, molarity, normality and molality calculations, the procedures and calculations of gravimetric and volumetric analyses among wet analysis methods, the reading and writing of well-known compounds, and hardness and alkalinity calculations in water analysis are also carried out in this laboratory.
