Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology Laboratory
In the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory, studies are carried out on the design, synthesis and purification of active pharmaceutical ingredients against a disease and on their structural elucidation using various spectroscopic methods. The synthesis and characterization of active pharmaceutical ingredients are among the main objectives of this laboratory. The Pharmacology Laboratory aims to investigate drugs and drug candidates in vitro, in vivo or in silico. Understanding the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of newly synthesized or plant-derived substances with bioactive potential is one of the main goals of this laboratory. Examining the interactions of small molecules or macromolecules with disease-related target structures is also among the main objectives of the laboratory.
