Since Bahçeşehir University is an English medium educational institution, all new undergraduate students, including those who will be studying in a program where medium of instruction is not English but wish to study English, are required to take the English Placement Exam on September 13, 2022, Tuesday.

* ENGLISH PLACEMENT EXAM
Bahçeşehir University English Placement exam for the 2022–2023 academic year will administered on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10 a.m. at BAU South Campus, North Campus and Future (Kemerburgaz) Campus.
Exam Content: English Placement Exam comprises 60 multiple choice questions including use of English and reading sections. (Please click here to see sample questions).
Duration: 75 minutes.
1 mark will be deducted for every 4 incorrect answer.

**ENGLISH PROFICIECNY EXAM
Students who achieve a net score of 30 out of 60 in this exam will be eligible to take the English Proficiency Examination. This exam will be administered on September 12, 2022, Monday. In order to be exempt from the English Preparatory Program, students are required to get a minimum score of 60 (sixty) in the English Proficiency Exam. For students of the Department of English Language Teaching and Faculty of Medicine, the minimum passing grade required is 80 (eighty) out of 100 (one hundred), and for those students who will study at Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Pharmacy, the minimum passing grade is 70 (seventy) out of 100.
