Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Research Laboratory
The Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Research Laboratory produces safe, highest-quality biological products for therapeutic and research purposes. Ongoing work includes the Preparation of Enriched Stem Cells from Autologous Adipose Tissue, Stem Cell Culture from Adipose Tissue, Preparation of Stem Cells from Autologous Bone Marrow, Mesenchymal Stem Cell Culture from Bone Marrow, Fibroblast Cell Culture, Corneal Cell Culture, Chondrocyte Cell Culture and Dendritic Cell Preparation.
These cell/tissue products planned to be produced at our center are currently being prepared, within the framework of legal permits, for use in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers, burns and scars, ischemic limb problems, the biological treatment of colorectal fistula, the treatment of peripheral circulatory insufficiency, the treatment of cartilage and degenerative joint diseases, and procedures such as facial/body fillers and breast reconstruction.
Educational activities will be carried out to provide our students with a theoretical foundation in the emerging fields of regenerative medicine, cell technologies and biotechnology. In addition, practical work on the subject will be planned so that students acquire basic technical skills in this area. In this way, they will gain experience in new research and clinical laboratory work carried out in particular with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) techniques.
