CO-OP Courses
One of the most distinctive and innovative concepts of the CO-OP Model implemented by Bahçeşehir University is "Branded Courses." A branded course is a course that companies offer under their own brand at Bahçeşehir University in order to train qualified human resources equipped with up-to-date knowledge of their fields, products, services and practices. The CO-OP Education Model, successfully implemented by Bahçeşehir University (BAU) for 12 years, aims to integrate higher education with professional life and to bridge the gap between the business world and the university. While continuing their university education, CO-OP students actively participate in working life and gain work experience.
Companies prepare the content of these practice-oriented courses according to sectoral needs and emerging fields. These courses are taught by company executives together with our academic staff, and students take branded courses as electives and earn credits. Branded courses are offered for one semester under the relevant department or departments and can be selected by third- and fourth-year students. Since branded courses require background knowledge in the field, they are opened only under the relevant department or departments with the COP code and can be selected only by third- and fourth-year students of those departments.
Below are the current Branded Courses of the BAU Faculty of Health Sciences.
