Course Descriptions:
GEP0012 INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHODRAMA
Since it is known that the professional competencies of individuals trained in healthcare cannot be independent of their personality traits and that the most functional and rapid development is achieved through group dynamics, it is believed that the psychodrama course (experiential group) will provide rapid development in health education. The course aims to increase students' empathy skills, reduce their anxiety levels, improve their stress-coping skills and develop their self-esteem and assertive behavior. The purpose of the course is not therapeutic. It aims to help healthcare professionals develop their personality toward becoming healthy, mature individuals in professional work and relationships, and to enhance their creativity and spontaneity.
GEP0016 INTRODUCTION TO HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY
The aim of this course is to provide knowledge of the fundamental concepts of health psychology (biological, psychological and social concepts related to health, illness and well-being).
