Dean's Message
Dear esteemed faculty members, students, and colleagues of the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine,
Following my clinical and academic journey in the field of cardiology, I assume the role of Dean of our Faculty of Medicine with great honor and a deep sense of responsibility. This position will not be exercised under the influence of any group, institution, or political structure; rather, it will serve solely under the guidance of science, ethical values, and the commitment to human health.
During my term of office, I will adopt as a fundamental principle the leadership of our faculty through a strong sense of collective wisdom that:
* prioritizes scientific production,
* safeguards academic freedom,
* supports intellectual diversity, and
* brings all members of our faculty together.
I will strive to further cultivate an environment that nurtures our students’ curiosity and strengthens their identity as researchers, while enabling our academics to produce knowledge freely. My goal is to advance the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine as a respected, reliable, and innovative center of science at both the national and international levels. Creating a faculty culture in which every individual, regardless of their background, feels valued and where the common purpose is science and human life is my foremost priority. For this reason, I pledge to carry out this duty with all my experience, impartiality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
I view the deanship not as an individual title, but as a responsibility that will grow through the efforts, knowledge, and shared goals of all of us. Our strength lies in our academic competence, our scientific productivity, and our commitment to our students. In the coming period, as we work together for a more transparent, productive, and stronger faculty, my door will always remain open to you. Your ideas, constructive criticism, and support will be invaluable.
I sincerely believe that together we will elevate our faculty to a more visible, respected, and influential position both nationally and internationally.
