Our laboratory focuses on developing engineering tools for use in molecular diagnostics and single-cell studies. Research and development of diagnostics kits and technologies for the detection of various types of disease-associated biomarkers, and identification of cells of interest of the immune system and their characterization at the single-cell level are specific areas of interest. We use microfabrication techniques and microarray platforms in our research, and design and develop advanced optical systems.
