CO-OP: My Campus Is My Workplace

The "CO-OP Education Model"established by Bahçeşehir University (BAU) was launched 12 years ago, and its goal is to integrate higher education with professional life and to fill the gaps between the business world and the university. While continuing their university education, our students who do CO-OP have the opportunity to gain work experience by actively participating in working life.

The CO-OP & Career Center carries out activities to support our students' career development, from the time they start university until graduation, and to help them find the right field by getting to know themselves. Through different and innovative practices, opportunities are created for our students to experience professional life and meet professionals from the business world.

Our students who are studying or will study in the Department of Management Engineering can also benefit from the opportunities offered by CO-OP. In this regard, between 2013 and 2019, 277 of our students from BAU Management Engineering found internship opportunities thanks to CO-OP and gained experience in the business world.

The companies where our students have completed internships are shown in the chart below. The "other" section of the chart also includes companies such as Koç Finans, EnerjiSA, DHL, Samsung, Microsoft and Turkcell.
