Program Details for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
Eligibility:
The applicant must be a 5th-grade student in the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by Friday, October 25th, 2024.
- Talent Exam/Selections: These will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024.
During the Part-Time Children's Conservatory exam/selections, candidates may be assessed on single-tone, double-tone, and, if necessary, three- or four-tone perception, as well as melody and rhythm repetition. Instrument performance is not mandatory but optional for students wishing to showcase their skills.

Force Majeure: In cases of extreme weather, floods, earthquakes, or other unavoidable circumstances, no makeup lessons are mandatory. However, students are required to complete assigned tasks.

Solfege Classes: Held on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for the entire class.

Individual Instrument Lessons: Scheduled on a weekday afternoon convenient for both the student and the instructor (45-minute private lessons).

Online Music Culture Classes: Only for the first year, held on Tuesdays after 5:30 PM for one session (45 minutes).
Purpose
The program provides comprehensive education for children who demonstrate artistic talent at an early age, complementing their formal education with a conservatory-level experience. It focuses on instrument mastery, performance, music reading, and solfege while fostering intellectual, social, and cognitive development with a sensitive academic approach.

- Duration: 4 years.
- Weekly Hours:
- 2 group lessons (45+45 minutes).
- 1 individual instrument lesson (45 minutes).
- 1 online music culture lesson (45 minutes, first year only).

Courses:
- Instrument: Focuses on familiarizing the student with their chosen instrument, developing their playing skills, and performing individually or in groups.
- Solfege: Aims to enhance note-reading and writing skills to prepare the student for a professional stage career.
- Music Culture: Explores music history, styles, composers, and movements.

The Part-Time Conservatory provides early academic knowledge and advanced artistic skills while allowing students to continue their standard school education. This ensures students acquire both conservatory-level artistic expertise and maintain alternative career opportunities.
