Reservation Process for Practice Rooms and Rehearsal Room (Sevinç Tevs)
- View the calendar of the room you wish to reserve.
- Determine the desired date and time range for your reservation.
- Send an email to [email protected] including the following information:

- Reservation requests that meet all requirements will be entered into the calendar by the reservation staff.
- The requesting student will receive an email confirming that the reservation has been approved and added to the schedule.
- Emails sent between 09:00–21:00 will be reviewed and replied to the same day.
Emails sent after 21:00 will be answered the next day.
Practice Rooms and Rehearsal Room (Sevinç Tevs) – Reservation Policy
1- Practice and rehearsal rooms cannot be used without a prior reservation.
- Reservations may be made for 1 to 7 days in advance. Same-day reservations are not accepted. Requests for dates beyond 8 days will not be processed. Emails sent on Sundays or public holidays will be answered on the next business day.
3- Reservations are scheduled in the order that emails are received. The earliest email request will take priority.
- Maximum reservation durations for Individual practice is up to 1.5 hours, and for group rehearsals is up to 3 hours. Requests exceeding these time limits will not be approved.
5- Reservation cancellations must be submitted via email.
6- If a student fails to use their reserved time without notification, they will lose reservation privileges for four weeks.
- Reservation requests must be sent exclusively via email to [email protected]. Requests made through messaging or social media platforms are not accepted. Students who violate this rule will have their reservation rights suspended for one month.
8- The BAU Conservatory Directorate reserves the right to change rehearsal times and locations when necessary, including classroom needs or special circumstances.
- Non-BAU students and guests may participate in sessions held in the practice and rehearsal rooms.
- The Dance Studio (PERA 214), Blackbox (PERA 212), and Pera Stage may only be reserved by Performing Arts Department students.
- Performing Arts students may also reserve the following rooms: PERA 201, 202, 210, 211, and 213.
- Performing Arts students may reserve rooms for a maximum duration of 1 hour.
- BAU Jazz Certificate Program graduates may continue to reserve rooms for three months after graduation.
- BAU Conservatory graduates may continue to reserve rooms for one year after graduation.
Practice Rooms and Rehearsal Room (Sevinç Tevs) – Usage Guidelines
- Instruments and equipment must be used with care. Food and drinks are strictly prohibited on or near any equipment.
- During rehearsals, if amplifiers, whiteboards, screens, or music stands are moved, they must be returned to their original positions along the walls after use.
- Pianos, drum sets, and sound system mixers or speakers must not be moved from their designated locations.
- Microphone and instrument cables must be properly coiled and stored in their cabinets after use.
- Each room has a designated list of instruments and equipment. Items such as amplifiers, microphones, and cables must be returned to their original locations and not exchanged between rooms.
- Any damage or malfunction occurring during use must be reported immediately to the responsible staff member.
- All users of the practice and rehearsal rooms must comply with these rules during their reserved times. Students are also responsible for ensuring that their guests adhere to these same guidelines.
