BAU Conservatory is an art education institution that carries the cultural heritage of tradition to the future, adopting the vision of the innovative claim it puts forward in the field of music and performing arts. Following the 21st century's current developments in the field and realizing pioneering goals in the field of music technology, BAU Conservatory has the mission of keeping many different musical cultures alive together and carries the responsibilities of providing education to you, our valuable artist candidates, with a musical ecosystem ranging from Classical European Music, Traditional Turkish Music, Jazz Music to World Music.
In the field of performing arts, BAU Conservatory has an innovative approach that closely follows all national and international developments in theater, performance arts and acting education with the responsibility of a tradition dating back to Dârülbedâyi. Our institution, which is almost a communication center of the field of science and art due to its academic staff, continues to update itself in order to train artist candidates equipped in every sense.
Our ongoing activities in a historical atmosphere on the Pera campus host our vision of a world university in the heart of Istanbul in the field of arts.
