Energy Systems Engineering - Capstone Project

As an outcome of engineering education, students complete a Capstone Project in order to examine, analyze and solve a complex engineering problem in an interdisciplinary environment by creatively using the fundamental engineering principles, knowledge and skills they have acquired during their undergraduate studies. This project is a preliminary application carried out with an interdisciplinary team, focusing on engineering principles, adding value to society, innovation and putting education into practice. By the end of the project, students also develop their report writing and presentation skills.

The Capstone Project consists of the Capstone Project I (ESE4991) and Capstone Project II (ESE4992) courses in the fall and spring semesters of the fourth-year curriculum.
