History of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences

Our Faculty is one of the first four faculties of Bahçeşehir University, which was founded in 1998. It began offering education by admitting its first students in the 1999-2000 academic year. Starting with the Business Administration and the Political Science and International Relations programs in its first year, our Faculty also began admitting students to the Economics and European Union Relations programs in its second year. The International Finance (2007-2008) and International Trade and Business (2008-2009) programs, operating under the Department of Business Administration, were later added to these programs. Our Faculty graduated its first students in the 2002-2003 academic year and moved to Beşiktaş in the 2004-2005 academic year.

Mission of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences

The mission of our Faculty is to support the production and dissemination of knowledge that will raise humanity's living standards through interdisciplinary research, and to educate effective and competent individuals who, through innovative educational models, can adapt to the dynamics of a changing world and have a global perspective and ethical values.

Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences conducts education and research in the fields of economics, business administration and social sciences. Following the evaluation conducted by the "Psychology Programs Accreditation Unit" of the Turkish Psychological Association, authorized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the Undergraduate Program of the Bahçeşehir University Department of Psychology has been accredited as of 23 March 2017.
