Reservation Process for Study Rooms and Rehearsal Room (Sevinç Tevs)
1- Check the calendar of the room you wish to reserve.
2- Select the desired date and time slot for the reservation.
3- Send an email containing the following information to [email protected].

4- Reservation requests submitted in accordance with the rules will be entered into the calendar by the responsible staff.
5- The student who submits the reservation request will receive an email confirming that the reservation has been approved and added to the calendar.
6- Emails sent between 09:00 and 21:00 will be reviewed and responded to on the same day. Emails sent after 21:00 will be answered the following day.
Reservation Rules for Study Rooms and Rehearsal Room (Sevinç Tevs)
1- Study and rehearsal rooms cannot be used without a reservation.
2- Reservations may be made 1–7 days in advance. Reservations cannot be made for the same day the email is sent or for dates beyond 7 days. Reservation requests sent on Sundays or public holidays will be responded to on the next business day.
3- Reservations are processed according to the order in which emails are received. Earlier requests are entered into the calendar first.
4- The maximum reservation duration is 1.5 hours for individual work and 3 hours for group work. Requests exceeding these durations will not be entered into the calendar.
5- Reservation cancellations must be reported by email.
6- If a student fails to use their reserved time slot, they will not be allowed to make reservations for four weeks.
7- Reservation requests cannot be made through messaging or social media applications. Reservations must be requested only via email at [email protected]. Students who violate this rule will have their reservation privileges suspended for one month.
8- The BAU Conservatory Directorate may change rehearsal times and locations under special circumstances such as classroom requirements.
9- Non-BAU students and guests may participate in group study sessions in the study and rehearsal rooms only in the presence of the reservation holder. External guests cannot make reservations for individual study.
10- DANCE STUDIO (PERA 214), BLACKBOX (PERA 212), and PERA STAGE may only be reserved by Performing Arts Department students.
11- Performing Arts Department students may reserve only 201, 202, 210, 211, and 213, in addition to DANCE STUDIO (PERA 214), BLACKBOX (PERA 212), and PERA STAGE.
12- Performing Arts Department students may make 1-hour reservations.
13- BAU Jazz Certificate Program students may continue to make reservations for three months after graduation.
14- Graduates of our Conservatory may continue to make reservations for one year after graduation.
Rules for Using Study Rooms and Rehearsal Room (Sevinç Tevs)
1- Instruments and other equipment must be used carefully. Food and beverages must never be placed on them.
2- If amplifiers, whiteboards, screen systems, or music stands are moved during rehearsal, they must be returned to their original positions near the walls afterward.
3- Pianos, drums, mixers, and speakers belonging to the sound system must not be moved from their positions.
4- Cables used for microphones and other devices must be coiled and placed back in the cabinet after rehearsal.
5- Each room has a designated list of equipment and instruments. Amplifiers, microphones, cables, and other equipment must be returned to their original places and must not be relocated.
6- Any damage or malfunction that occurs during use must be reported immediately to the responsible staff.
7- Everyone using the study and rehearsal rooms during reservation hours must follow these rules. Students are responsible for ensuring that their guests also comply with the rules.
