Undergraduate Degree Requirements

• For the Distance Education English Language Education non-thesis master's program, candidates who does not have required undergraduate degree can apply if they meet following requirements:

  • A document showing that candidate has taught English for at least 1 year
  • Have one of the internationally valid certificates such as TESOL, CELTA or DELTA.

Required Application Documents for Master’s Degree

1. Undergraduate Diploma

2. Undergraduate transcript

3.  ALES-GRE-GMAT score required for thesis programs

4. English Exam Score (YDS-YÖKDİL: 80, TOEFL:96 or BAU PE: 85)

5. Photograph

6. Photocopy of ID.

7. Two reference letters

8. Photocopy of military status certificate for male candidates

9. CV

10. YÖK Equivalency Certificate (Required from candidates who receive undergraduate or graduate education abroad.)

11. Letter of Intent (It must be prepared as at least one page and in the applied program language)

12. Employment Document (Official Institution Document to be obtained from the workplace where the candidates work)

ORAL EXAM DATES

* Candidates who will participate in the interview can benefit from the reading list shared below.

The interview for the English Language Education (English, Thesis) program will be held on the following dates.

- Deadline for application and document completion: 01 February 2021 Monday 17:00 pm.

- Oral exam date: 04 February 2021 Thursday.

- Announcement of noble and waiting lists: 08 February 2021 Monday.

- Last registration date for noble list:  17 February 2021 Wednesday 16:00 pm. The registration right of the candidates in the noble list who have not registered until this date will be transferred to the candidates in the waiting list respectively.

- Last registration date for waiting list: 26 February 2021 Friday 16:00 pm.

The interviews for the Distance Education English Language Education (English, Non-Thesis) and English Language Education (English, Non-Thesis) programs will be held on the following dates.

1. Application Period

- Deadline for application and document completion: 21 December 2020 Monday 17:00 pm.

- Oral exam date: 28 December 2020 Monday.

- Announcement of the oral exam result: 29 December2020 Tuesday.

- Registration deadline for accepted candidates: 8 January 2021 Friday 17:00 pm.

2. Application Period

- Deadline for application and document completion: 25 January 2021 Monday 17:00 pm.

- Oral exam date: 27 January 2021 Wednesday.

- Announcement of the oral exam result: 28 January 2021 Thursday.

- Registration deadline for accepted candidates: 5 February 2021 Friday 16:00 pm.

3. Application Period

- Deadline for application and document completion: 17 February 2021 Wednesday 17:00 pm.

- Oral exam date: 19 February 2021 Friday.

- Announcement of the oral exam result: 22 February 2021 Monday.
