Duties of the Quality Commission

a) In line with the University's strategic plan and objectives, to establish the internal and external quality assurance system for the evaluation and improvement of the quality of education, research activities and administrative services; to determine institutional indicators and carry out the related work in accordance with the procedures and principles set by the Higher Education Quality Council; and to submit this work for Senate approval,

b) To carry out work to ensure that quality standards are maintained and that the quality approach is adopted by all units of the University, and to inform students, Senate members and the public,

c) To carry out internal evaluation work, and to prepare the annual institutional evaluation report containing the results of institutional evaluation and quality improvement work and submit it to the Senate,

ç) To make all necessary preparations before external evaluation and to provide all kinds of support to the Higher Education Quality Council and external evaluation bodies during the evaluation process,

d) To plan the improvement activities deemed necessary based on the results of internal and external evaluations.
