1. BAHÇEŞEHİR UNIVERSITY SPEECH AND LANGUAGE DISORDERS APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTER HAS STARTED ACCEPTING CLIENTS!

You can now schedule an appointment at our center, which provides services through comprehensive assessment and therapy approaches in the field of Speech and Language Therapy. You may contact us to receive services from 4th-year speech and language therapy students under the supervision of academic therapists. Initial consultations are free of charge!

Our Center provides services in the following areas:

• Speech Sound Disorders (Articulation and Phonological Disorders – Difficulty Producing Sounds Correctly)
• Delayed Speech and Language
• Developmental Language Disorder
• Language and Speech Disorders due to Neurological Causes (Aphasia, Traumatic Brain Injury, etc.)
• Fluency Disorders (Stuttering, Cluttering)
• Language and Speech Problems Associated with General Developmental Delays (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Hearing Impairment, Intellectual Disability, etc.)
• Voice Disorders
• Motor Speech Disorders (Apraxia / Dysarthria)

2. Visit of Deborah HAYDEN (Founder of the PROMPT Institute) and Dr. Aravind Kumar NAMASIVAYAM from the University of Toronto to BAUKOM

Deborah HAYDEN, founder of the PROMPT Institute, and Dr. Aravind Kumar NAMASIVAYAM from the Department of Speech and Language Therapy at the University of Toronto visited BAUKOM between May 28 and June 5, 2024. During their visit, they conducted data collection and practical applications for scientific research in collaboration with our Center Director, Assoc. Prof. İbrahim Can YAŞA.
