Graduate students registered for these courses must select other courses from the Student Information System between 7 and 11 October 2024 (add-drop week).

ADD-DROP week. The system is opened for students who could not select courses during the course registration period of 23-27 September 2024 or who wish to make changes to their courses.

Courses without a sufficient number of registered students during add-drop week will be closed on Wednesday, 9 October 2024 (at 16:00), and these courses will be dropped from the relevant students' records. Students whose courses are closed must select other courses before the system closes on Friday, 11 October 2024. Students whose courses are dropped are informed by SMS; however, it is the student's responsibility to check whether a course has been closed.

The courses of students who do not fulfill their financial obligations are deleted from their records, and these students are marked as "not registered for courses" for that semester. Students are responsible for any courses not dropped from their records for any reason by this date, whether assigned by the system or registered by the student. Scholarship students in particular should pay attention to their course registrations in this regard.

Early final exam dates for students who came to our University through Erasmus, World Exchange or other means and for our students who will go abroad within the same programs. The departure of students taking these exams must be confirmed and proven with a document from their institution. This exam is not given to every student going abroad; it is given only because of overlapping academic dates. A list on this matter must be submitted to the Office of the President by the International Academic Relations and Programs Unit by Friday, 13 December 2024 at the latest, to be sent to the relevant units. Students on the list sent to the units are informed of the exam day planned by the department. Students granted the right to an early final must take all their final exams in the early final period. They cannot take exams in the regular final period.

The UMIS system will not open for course registration for students who do not fulfill their financial obligations before the registration period, and these students cannot register for courses during the regular course registration period.

If registration is not completed, the system will not open during the course registration period, so students cannot register for courses.

End of English Preparatory Program summer school classes

Summer school course registration period for students in graduate programs. ADD-DROP and Course Withdrawal (W) procedures are not available in summer school.

Courses that do not meet the conditions for being offered in summer school and must be closed will be closed by the Academic Planning Directorate at around 11:00, and students whose courses are dropped will be informed by SMS. Students must check the courses they will take in the system for the last time on Thursday, 3 July 2025. If a course has been dropped because it was not opened, the student may select another course via the system on 3 July 2025. Courses that do not meet the conditions but must remain open are not counted toward teaching load and no fee is paid.

The courses of students who do not fulfill their financial obligations are deleted from their records and their summer school registration is cancelled.
