The publication conditions to enter the thesis defense for PhD students who registered in the 2020-2021 Fall Semester and after are explained in the decision text below.
It is important to submit the relevant form together with the "Thesis Defense Examination Jury Suggestion Form" to the Graduate School before taking the PhD Thesis Defense Exam.

In order for a PhD student to take the thesis defense exam; one must publish at least one article related to the ones thesis/field, the first author of which is himself/herself, in a peer-reviewed journal scanned in at least one national or international field index or submit his/her acceptance letter to the Graduate School Board of Directors. Thesis advisors may appear as co-authors on this publication. In the relevant publication, the name of the University is required.
