Message from the Director

Competition law is more than just a body of legal rules; it is an interdisciplinary field that also takes into account economic dynamics, market structure and social impacts. In today's world, rapidly changing economic and technological conditions require a more in-depth examination of both the theoretical and practical dimensions of competition law.
We established the Bahçeşehir University Competition Law Application and Research Center (BauRHM) with a dynamic perspective that supports the adaptation of competition law to evolving market conditions. Our aim is to generate academic and practical knowledge in the field of competition law, to seek solutions to current issues and to contribute to developments in this field at the national and international levels.
Our Center operates as a knowledge and research platform for students, academics, legal professionals and the business community. In this context, through the seminars, workshops, training programs and academic publications we organize, we aim to raise awareness in the field of competition law, support scientific developments and guide legal practitioners. We also aim to contribute to creating a more effective field of practice by comparing Türkiye's competition law legislation with international norms.
As BauRHM, we adopt an interdisciplinary perspective and conduct research that brings together law and economics. By developing collaborations with universities, public institutions and the private sector in Türkiye and abroad, we promote knowledge sharing on the understanding and application of competition law at the global level.
