Laboratories and Physical Facilities

YouTube Studio

An integral part of our department’s technical infrastructure, the YouTube Studio is designed to meet all of our students’ video production needs. Equipped with a variety of lighting options, a green screen setup for special effects and virtual backgrounds, and high-resolution audio and recording equipment, the studio enables students to produce professional-quality footage for their projects.

 

Multimedia Lab and Web Lab

With a capacity for 50 students and computers, the lab is open to students 24 hours a day during the week, and the computers are capable of meeting all project needs.

 

Mac Lab

Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Communication has two Macintosh labs. 

 

Design Laboratory

It is a modern drawing laboratory designed for two-dimensional design courses.

 

CATI Lab

CATI is a new data collection technique that combines telephone, computer, and research expertise, accelerated by technology, and stands for “computer-assisted telephone interviewing.” The lab utilizing this technique features state-of-the-art software, the best in its field, which is being used for the first time in Türkiye at Bahçeşehir University.

 

Focus Group Laboratory

Focus group discussions, which are used to gather in-depth and multidimensional qualitative information about the target audience’s preferences, opinions, emotions, attitudes, and habits regarding a specific topic, bring together 7-12 people with similar demographic characteristics to discuss the research topic in a group setting for approximately two hours, facilitated by a moderator, while an observer takes notes throughout the entire session. 

Additionally, our Faculty is equipped with a Darkroom, a Television Studio, Editing Rooms, a Photography Studio, a News Center, and a Radio Studio.
