Bahcesehir University has created the Quality Management System in line with its mission, vision, goals, policies, giving importance to change and transformation. Its aim is to continuously improve efficiency and productivity in education-training, research-development, community service and administrative processes, to make innovations and to guarantee sustainable success. Quality studies at our university started with program accreditation studies, after the structuring of the Quality Commission and the Quality Management Unit, the Quality Executive Board was established within our university, and the “Bahçeşehir University Quality Assurance Directive” was approved and published by the Senate. Self-sacrificing works are carried out in terms of internalizing the quality culture in all units by gaining a significant speed in quality studies.
Quality Comitte; In line with the strategic plan and objectives of the University, the aim is to establish the internal and external quality assurance system, to determine the institutional indicators, to carry out the studies to be carried out in this context and to submit to the approval of the Senate, to carry out the internal and external evaluation studies, to make all necessary preparations before the external evaluation and to submit the evaluation process to the external evaluator institutions. It plans all necessary improvement activities within the scope of internal and external evaluation results.
Quality Executive Board; Determining the improvement areas required for the Quality Assurance System, making decisions on the studies to be carried out within this scope, sharing the decisions with the relevant units, ensuring the sustainability of the studies on education, research and development, social contribution, and governance, conducting relations with external institutions on issues related to quality processes. continues its activities with the aim of presenting it to the Quality Commission by taking an active role in the preparation of the annual internal evaluation report.
Bahçeşehir University Quality Management Unit; was established to ensure that the University carries out its education-training, research-development, social contribution and governance activities in accordance with the "Higher Education Quality Assurance and Higher Education Quality Board Regulation" and with the university's policies. To carry out all planned and systematic processes by taking the opinions of internal and external stakeholders for continuous improvement studies to be carried out together with other academic and administrative units; It continues its activities under the Vice Rectorate in order to register these processes with accreditation documents. It organizes informative meetings and seminars with the Quality Executive Board and the Quality Commission to increase the awareness of academic and administrative units, staff and students on quality management and to encourage their participation in quality assurance processes.
Quality Unit Delegates; gathers information about the unit for program accreditation or institutional accreditation, assists the Department/Faculty/School/Institute/Quality Management Unit in the preparation of the internal evaluation report and audit preparations. Unit Quality Delegates may consist of academic or administrative unit personnel.
Quality Community; this is a community established within the structure of the Dean of Students, under the consultancy of the Quality Management Unit, to ensure the internalization and dissemination of quality culture in higher education by students and to increase students' participation in the quality assurance processes in higher education.
To all of our academic and administrative units; taking into account the mission, vision, policies, regulations and directives of our university, internal stakeholder (senior management, students, academic and administrative staff, etc.) and external stakeholders (graduates, advisory board, public institutions and organizations, other universities, employers, cooperation) we continue to work on continuous improvement of our processes in line with the opinions of the companies we work with, accreditation bodies, etc.)
The ownership and motivation of our rector and senior management in creating and disseminating a quality culture with an agile management approach is quite high.
