Unfair Claims of Greece over Crete and Rhodes

The Agreement on Limiting the Maritime Jurisdictions (the other two written EEZ declarations) signed between the Greek Republic and the Arab Republic of Egypt on 06/08/2020 is in violation of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) to which Greece is a party.


C4 Defence : Greece, Egypt and Turkey Tensions in the Mediterranean

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry, who are based in Cairo, met in Cairo. In a joint press release, the ministers announced that Greece and Egypt have signed an exclusive economic zone (Münhasır Ekonomik Bölge/ MEB) agreement.
