Participation Conditions and Eligibility

Who Can Participate?:The competition is open to all undergraduate students at Bahçeşehir University.

Individual or Team Participation: You may participate individually or inteams of up to 4 members. Teams may be interdisciplinary, and such collaborations are strongly encouraged.

Application Document:To participate in the competition, you must complete the competition application document (Registration Form) athttps://forms.gle/VBF48j41teCi4hY36.

Mandatory Workshop:All participating students or teams are required to attend theseminar to be organized.Projects of students who do not attend the seminarwill not be accepted.

Communication Rules:Throughout the competition schedule, no participant may communicate directly with the jury committee or the rapporteurs. All questions regarding the competition must be sent to recyclingstation2025@gmail.com by9 January 2026, 17:00. Questions and answers will be published on this website on16 January 2026.

Project Requirements:
Originality:Projects submitted to the competitionmust be original.Projects must not have been previously published elsewhere, entered in another competition or produced within project studios. If otherwise determined, the projectwill be disqualified.

Sources:If images and texts from other sources are used, appropriate sources must be cited.

Use of Materials: Designs must include, together with appropriate connection details,fiberboard and particleboard panels produced from wood or other industrial wood waste. Non-structural/secondary materials such as textiles and membranes may be used in moderate scale and quantity.
In order to fully comply with the competition rules, every student participating in the competition must read the competition brief carefully.

Disqualification Conditions:
• If direct communication has been establishedwith the jury committee or the rapporteurs,
•    If the submitted project is not original, has been previously published elsewhere, has entered another competition or has been produced in a project studio/workshop; or if it is acopyof an existing project or consists of created, printed, exhibited or published images of an existing project,
• If the documents required from participants are uploaded to the system incorrectly or incompletely, or are uploaded after the project submission deadline specified in the competition schedule,
•   If different representations of the project are uploaded to anotherdigital interface andlinked via a QR code.,
Applications from students in these situations will not be evaluated by the jury and will be disqualified, documented in a report by the rapporteurs.
