About Us

Cyberspace encompasses systems that can communicate with one another, such as the internet, communication and telecommunication networks, information systems, and embedded process and control units, as well as every type of activity that all these systems and devices perform together in the virtual environment.

Under these conditions, the concept of security emerges not only in individual, national and international settings but also in the dimension of "cyberspace" . This encounter is so powerful and far-reaching that the field of cybersecurity often goes beyond individual and national borders and directly reaches an international scale.

Bahçeşehir University Cyber Security Application and Research Center was established in 2017 to raise awareness by educating people of all ages and knowledge levels, as well as institutions, organizations and companies, on "cybersecurity", an evolving and almost living system; to develop modern measures; and to conduct academic studies. The most important pillar supporting our ongoing activities is the academic infrastructure of our university, which is celebrating its 28th year.
