"Tech Stories in a Developing World" (Gelişen Dünyada Tekno Hikayeler), a storybook by Dr. Ahmet Naci ÜNAL, Director of the BAU Cyber Security Application and Research Center, covering current technology topics such as cybersecurity in particular, big data, aviation, lasers and Industry 4.0, was published in September 2023 (ISBN: 978-625-6515-92-5). By telling real-world phenomena as stories, the book aims to inform people of all age groups about new technologies and to raise awareness of how these technologies can be used more beneficially with the necessary precautions.

Upon request from SETA (Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research), the report "Cyber Security: Türkiye's Capabilities and Global Trends | SETA Emerging Military Technologies Series" was prepared in Turkish and English.

Within the scope of the "Smart Cities Capacity and Model Development Project" carried out by Istanbul University for the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye, four books were written: "Sensors, Data Collection and Actuators", "Information Security", "Information Technologies" and "Internet of Things".

The chapter "Cyberspace and Chaos: A Conceptual Approach to Cyber Terrorism" was written for the book "What's Happening in Cyber Space? An Interdisciplinary Approach", edited by BAU faculty members Hatice Necla KELEŞ and Ahu ERGEN and published by Peter Lang.

The chapter "The Technological Transformation Process from Electronic Intelligence to Cyber Intelligence" was written for the book "Who Runs The World: Data", edited by Istanbul University faculty members Sevinç Gülseçen, Sushil Kumar Sharma and Emre Akadal.
