Begüm Şeren Güler

After earning her bachelor’s degree from METU’s Department of Economics, Begüm Şeren Güler began her career in the Tax Department at Ernst & Young. She also earned a master’s degree from METU’s Department of Economics and worked at institutions such as Aselsan, TEPAV, and the European Commission. In 2011, she completed her master's in Economic Studies at the College of Europe as one of the first scholarship recipients under the coordination of the then General Secretariat of the European Union, supported by the private sector and civil society organizations. In 2016, she earned her doctoral degree from Ankara University with a dissertation titled "The Impact of Reforms on Growth in the European Union." She has served as a part-time lecturer at Hacettepe University and Bilkent University and currently works at the Directorate for EU Affairs, conducting research on European Economic Integration, economic criteria, total factor productivity, and growth reforms.
Bengisu Özenç

Bengisu Özenç earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Bilkent University’s Department of Economics. From 2005 to 2017, she served as a researcher, project manager, and finally the Director of the Macroeconomic Studies Program at the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV). During these years, she participated in impact analysis studies across various sectors and has focused on the intersection of energy, economics, and climate change since 2012. Bengisu Özenç has been working as an independent consultant since 2017 and teaches courses in Environmental Economics.

Arda Tunca graduated from Kabataş Erkek Lisesi in 1988 and from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Economics, Department of Economics, in 1992. He completed his master’s degree in Monetary and Banking at the same university in 1993. From 1992 to 1996, he engaged in academic studies and lived in Berkeley (USA) between 1994 and 1996 for academic purposes. In 1996, he started working at the European headquarters of DuPont de Nemours International S.A. in Geneva (Switzerland) with an AIESEC scholarship.
