A collaborative and competitive workshop for undergraduate students on tackling problems related to each UN SDG through their innovative ideas and solutions, which is to make sure students know the basics of the UN SDGs, CIFAL Istanbul, UNITAR and create solutions for global problems related to the SDGs.

This event aims at explaining the framework of the UN SDGs, CIFAL Istanbul, UNITAR and entrepreneurship for sustainability and covers the following topics: Introductory presentation on the UN SDGs, CIFAL Istanbul, UNITAR and entrepreneurship for sustainability.
Developing necessary communication skills and accumulating knowledge for communicating in complex environments and accomplishing strategic academic and professional business goals.
The Sustainability Literacy program, which was carried out in partnership with the United Nations Institute for Education and Research (UNITAR), the International Training Centre for Managers and Leaders (CIFAL Istanbul), Bahçeşehir University (BAU) and BAU Continuing Education Center (BAUSEM). It aims to internalize sustainability and sustainable development principles and practices in the light of Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals put into effect.
'MOVE-UP' event was held with the participation of thousands of students. 'MOVE-UP 21', which was initiated with the words 'Guide Your Future in 1 Day' and the concepts of the future and the people of the future were discussed and explained, was held on February 13th. Students were trained on subjects such as the 2nd Future and Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology Law, Creativity in Digital Communication, Big Data, Cryptoeconomics, Blockchain, and cybersecurity. During this online event academicians who are experts in their fields gave trainings to students and answered their questions.
UN Turkey OiC Alvaro Rodriguez, FAO SCfCA Viorel Gutu and BAU President Prof. Şirin Karadeniz discussed resetting the 21st century via sustainable recovery post COVID 19 with Prof. Ebru Canan Sokullu's moderation.
Google Developer Student Clubs organized the 2021 Solution Challenge for university students. Challenge's mission was to solve a problem that addresses one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals using Google technologies.
The purpose of the Solution Challenge Incubation Program was to better prepare the students who participated in this competition and initiate projects that can represent our country globally.
26 February 2021: Food and Agriculture Training Seminars
The purpose of the FAO Training Programme is to educate and raise awareness on parts of SDGs that are related with food, agriculture, forestry, biodiversity, natural resources, land and water management. The objective of this training program is to educate and raise awareness on issues related to food, environment and climate change. The aim is to help people from all levels of life to learn and understand how their actions and/or misactions can affect the road to recovery from climate change.
Hack The Normal Africa focuses on the financial and sustainability problems facing Africa and the world in general. Under the leadership of Defy, people from across multiple disciplines will come together and innovate new ways to ensure the sustainability of trade, natural resources, and life in Africa. The hackathon will examine the impact of a sustainable approach to energy, water, food, and trade on the individual, social, and material levels. It will develop solutions by creating a fertile and digital space that brings together multiple disciplines, such as design, technology, sociology, psychology, human resources, management, and communications.
After the hackathon, selected projects will have the opportunity to cooperate with Defy on further developing their projects: they will receive promotion support for access to customers through Sub-Saharan African channels and gain access to sales opportunities, investment networks, acceleration and incubation programs, and access to users and the ecosystem in general.
From Anatolia to the Future - Sustainable Development Goals Certificate Program has taken place in several one-hour online sessions. The program will start on March 22 with the "Importance of Sustainable Development Goals" session. "Reporting Studies of Anadolu Group in the Field of Sustainable Development Goals" will be discussed on April 5, and "Projects and Applications Contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals of Anadolu Group companies" on April 19. In the session of the program, information on "Sustainable Development Goals Communication" and "Management of AG Anadolu Group Holding's Entry Process in BIST Sustainability Index" will be conveyed on May 17. The speakers of the program are Anadolu Group Corporate Relations and Communication Coordinator Kaan Ünver and executives from different companies and departments of Anadolu Group.
This event brings together representatives from these key stakeholder groups to discuss in practical terms the measures governments and other stakeholders can take to ensure that this vital component of our societies is not left behind – now more than ever.
