28.06.2022 CIFAL Istanbul Youth Platform Closing Meeting
Ever since its establishment in December 2021, CIFAL Istanbul Youth Platform has reached 61 people among Bahçeşehir University students and 30 people from different universities around Türkiye. This student body has been highly interested in the affairs of CIFAL Istanbul and CIFAL Istanbul Youth Platform and demanded numerous activities to be organized from the core team of the CIYP. In the last seven months, thirteen different events have been organized and hosted by the CIYP, seven of them in the online format and four of them face to face. Members have also represented the Platform on three different national or local organizations. CIFAL Istanbul Youth Platform organized the first annual closing ceremony for the members of the platform on June 28, 2022. During this event, a short presentation of the past activities of the platform will be shown and closing speeches will be given. In this closing ceremony, members will be given certifications for their efforts and interests for the dissemination of sustainability and all its pillars. CIFAL Istanbul Youth Platform celebrates the members’ active participation and would like to thank the student body by organizing this event to show its appreciation.
11.05.2022 – Heybeliada Trekking and Environmental Cleaning
In order to draw attention to the increasing environmental pollution in the world and to raise awareness about environmental problems among young people, a garbage collection and nature walk event was held on Saturday, June 11, in cooperation with Cifal Istanbul Youth Platform and BAU Genç TEMA Club.
01&05.04.2022 – CineDiscussion “Hidden Figures”
The CineDiscussion event series, which started with the movie Hidden Figures, proceeded through topics such as women's empowerment, inclusion, diversity, rights and potentials, and aimed to encourage the participants who watched the movie and participated in the discussion to generate and share questions to be asked within the scope of ideas and topics. Since these topics are kind of complex, the second part of the event will feature a moderator who is an expert in his field, who helped the participants gain awareness and perspective.
