Assoc. Prof. Ulaş Sunata met with Circassians from different age and gender groups, from different rural and urban regions with varying political opinions and they reflected their personal perceptions of what it is to be a Circassian. “Hafızam Çerkesçe” arose from the TUBİTAK project that was implemented in 2014 and is based on intense field work and oral history study.

The research, which will focus on the home-work dynamics and domestic relations of immigrants after the Covid-19 pandemic, will concentrate on migrant domestic workers.The research project coordinated by Assoc. On that note, the event “Yerelde Göçü Yönetmek” aiming to assess the current situation and at the same time creating viable suggestions for the future, was held on Sunday June 20 as part of the 2021 World Refugee Day. This event was coordinated by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Bahçeşehir University Center for Migration and Urban Studies (BAUMUS) and The International Training Center for Managers and Leaders affiliated with United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
