The European Union Erasmus Mundus Design Measures Project funded by the European Commission, is currently a preparatory grant for “Migration, Diversity and Governance” (MiDiGo), Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree.
With our Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) Project, we propose to establish a common mechanism with the partner higher education institutions to create an integrated transnational master’s degree in Migration, Diversity, and Governance across Europe with a special focus on the Mediterranean region. To achieve this, we aim to overcome the obstacles regarding quality assurance, accreditation, and recognition of degrees and credits with the help of this proposed project.
MiDiGo is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata, founding director of Bahçeşehir University Center of Migration and Urban Studies, Turkey and the international consortium consists of partner universities Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) from Spain, Luiss Guido Carli University from Italy, Fulda University of Applied Sciences from Germany, and American University in Cairo (AUC) from Egypt, which are leading research institutions in the area of Migration, Diversity, and Governance.
