Our first face-to-face event after the pandemic, "Italian Migration Policy: Assessing The Pre- and Post-Covid Period" was held on June 3. Prof. Ulaş Sunata moderated the talk in which Prof. Selcen Öner and Angela Ziccardi participated as speakers.
The event started with Angela Ziccardi's comparison of pre- and post-Covid-19 period in the context of the Italian immigration policy review. Prof. Selcen Öner concluded her speech by emphasizing the securitization and externalization of migration management, especially in the European Union and Italy. The event ended with a question-and-answer section, and we would like to thank our guest speakers who took part in the event and all the participants who were there with us!
