Although Blockchain technology, a distributed data recording system that enables encrypted transaction tracking, was developed primarily for use in the infrastructure of virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, today it is also used in sectors as diverse as finance, health, energy, real estate, supply chain and telecommunications. BlockchainIST Center, Türkiye's first and only university-based Blockchain Technology Application and Research Center, established at Bahçeşehir University, is among the most important institutions in Türkiye conducting scientific research on Blockchain technology, training qualified human resources and developing projects and applications.

Setting out with the slogan "If the system doesn't work, you need a BUG to fix it!", BUG aims to be a training and communication platform for the Turkish game industry and entrepreneurs who want to develop games. If you are interested in the behind-the-scenes side of the game industry, you can take part in this laboratory and work with leading names in the industry.

 

2. FUTURE AND SUSTAINABILITY - "CIFAL Istanbul UNITAR"

Sustainable development means meeting today's needs without depleting tomorrow's resources. A sustainable future is only possible when environmental, social and economic developments take place in harmony. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, created to build a sustainable future, consist of 17 goals that comprehensively address various development issues such as ending poverty and hunger, improving health and education conditions, making cities sustainable, combating climate change, and protecting water resources and forests.

These 17 goals serve as a guide on the road to a sustainable future. The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) aims to raise public awareness of sustainability and to train individuals from different sectors. The CIFAL Global Network consists of 19 training centers affiliated with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. Called International Training Centers for Authorities and Leaders, these centers, which include CIFAL Istanbul at Bahçeşehir University, offer training worldwide and serve as knowledge hubs on key issues related to sustainable development among the public sector, private sector, civil society and academia.
