Meet D-Art House
What Is D-ART House? D-Art House is an entrepreneurship program under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's "Gelecek Gençlerin" (The Future Belongs to Youth) Support Program for Increasing the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Potential of Young People in the Cultural Industries. The need for creative talent in the creative industries is growing every day in our country. D-Art House will provide artists and/or entrepreneurs aged 18-35 with the specialized training they need to produce in creative sectors within digital arts. It will bring the creative business ideas developed during the training process together with potential institutions and investors in a virtual gallery. What Does D-ART House Aim For? Focusing on design, gaming, 3D visual design, visual effects, color grading, virtual and augmented reality, cinema, sound design and advertising among the creative industries, the first goal of the D-Art House project is to share the knowledge and skills needed to become part of the creative industries with the prospective entrepreneurs accepted as participants.
The ultimate framework of the project is to enable individuals who, by taking part in the project, move from being prospective independent creators in the creative industries to the production stage, to gain the skills to contribute to our national economy in these sectors, and to connect them with the relevant channels so that they can turn their ideas into sustainable businesses.
Project Duration: The training to be provided to prospective entrepreneurs within D-Art House will last nine months and will consist of two options, weekday and weekend. Each option will receive BAUKEM and BAU Hub Incubation training consisting of six modules totaling 85 hours. After the training, participants will produce works and creative ideas with mentors for a digital exhibition to be presented to potential investors and institutions. The program will start on 4 July and, together with the exhibition, will continue until 6 February. During the program, two outstanding participants will visit Berlin International University and have the chance to present their ideas and works to the business community there.
